Katheryn Madison Ross;29;of 208 Bayview Towers;Hampton;Va.;formerly of Monessen;died Wednesday;April 19;1995;at 9:20 p.m.in the Portsmouth Naval Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born July 17;1965;in Charleroi Hospital;a daughter of the late Flora Davis Madison and Norman Madison Sr.;who survives and resides in Monessen. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church. She was a 1983 graduate of Monessen High School. Survivors include her husband;Delroy L.Ross Sr.;one son;Delroy L.Ross Jr.;one stepson;Torrederic Williams of Monesen;one sister;Joan Grogan of Ohio;one brother;Norman (Boogie) Madison Jr.of Pontiac;Mich.;one step-brother;David Baluch of Monessen;one step-sister;Lora Baluch of Monessen;step-mother;Darla Madison of Monessen;maternal great-grandmother;Thelma Green of Greensburg;her maternal grandparents;Emanual and Thelma Anderson of Monessen;her paternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Robert Madison of Monessen;her mother-in-law and father-in-law;Nadine and Delaware Ross of Monessen;three sisters-in-law;Dionne Ross;Iris and Leann Madison;all of Monessen. In addition to her mother;she was preceded in death by her brother;Anthony Madison on Feb.25;1991. Friends will be received Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Union Baptist Church;Monessen;where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.James L.Edmounds;pastor;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home;Monessen;is in charge of the arrangements.
