Obituary

Donald L. Renner,59,of Belle Vernon (Fairhope),died suddenly Sunday,July 10,1994,in Mon Valley Hospital Inc.,Carroll Township.  Born Jan. 11,1935,in Cleveland,Ohio,he was the son of the late Norman and Velma Delansky Renner. A resident of Fairhope for 30 years,Mr. Renner was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon.  He was employed at the Clairton Works of USX.  A U.S. Navy veteran, he served from 1952 to 1955 in the Korean Conflict.  In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife,Bertila Guranda Renner, in 1989. Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law,David N. and Kathy Renner of Atlanta,Ga., and Ronald L. Renner,at home; two daughters,Lisa Renner and Mrs. Michael (Lori) Vrable,both of Donora; three grandchildren,Shannan and Chad Renner and Alyssa Marie Shawley; one brother, Richard Renner of Norfolk,Va.; and one sister, Karen Keleman of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon, where a Prayer service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon, with the Rev. John R. Cindric,pastor, as celebrant.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Mr. Renner is also survived by a step-brother,Dean Kaylor.  Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
