Private services were held Wednesday morning Jan.19;1994;for Margaret Ritarcik;88;of 216 Rear Cook Road;Belle Vernon;who died Tuesday;Jan.18;1994;at 6:53 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born March 28;1905;a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Lachman Brazzon. Mrs.Ritarcik was Roman Catholic by faith. She is survived by a daughter;Mrs.John (Dorothy) Canigiani of New Eagle;four grandchildren;Mrs.Charles (Sheri) Battaglia;with whom she made her home;Lynne Hefner;Glenn Canigiani and John Scott Canigiani;seven great-grandchildren;including a great-granddaughter;Dana;and one sister;Frances Glister. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Joseph Ritarick in May of 1972. Interment is in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Sympathy contributions may be made to the Morgan Personal Care Home;Fayette City. The Melenyzer Funeral Homes Inc.of Charleroi is in charge of the arrangements.
