Mrs.Ross wa born July 16;1924;in Lobata;W.Va.;a daughter of the late Purvey and Lenora Dupree. She was a member of the Macedonia Holinesss Church;Arnold City. In addition to her parents;Mrs.Ross was also preceded in death by her husband;Henry Ross;in 1985;and by six brothers and one sister. Surviving are one son;Dwight Dupree of Arnold City;a step-mother;Aggie Dupree;of Belle Vernon;two brothers;Sylvester and Harding Dupree;both of Arnold City;two sisters;Rosa McCarthy and Geneva Calloway;both of Arnold City;and many nieces;nephews;cousins and friends. Friends will be received Sunday and Monday from noon to 8 p.m.in the Macedonia Holiness Church;116 Grata Ave.;Arnold City;Belle Vernon. On Tuesday;friends will be received at the First Christian Church;Wickhaven;from 11 a.m.to 1 p.m.;the hour of services in the church;with bishop F.M.Thomas of The Greater Bethlehem Church;Pittsburgh;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;is in charge of arrangements.
