Sondra Farkas Rogers,56, of 3 James St.,Belle Vernon,died Thursday, April 6,1989, in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Sept. 24,1932,in New Eagle,she was the daughter of the late Sanders and Essen Trozzo Farkas. Mrs. Farkas passed away on Feb. 1,1989. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon,Mrs. Rogers was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Rogers,on Dec. 10,1988. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law,Timothy and Maureen Rogers of Pittsburgh;one brother, Richard Farkas of Belle Vernon; one niece,Debbie Balamas and one nephew, James Farkas. Friends will be received Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. in Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,when a Blessing service will be held followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
