Phyllis E. Atkinson Roucroft of Belle Vernon,formerly of Clairton,died Sunday, Feb. 26,1989,at 2:50 p.m. in Mercy Hospital,Pittsburgh. She was born in Stockdale,a daughter of the late Daniel and Eleanor Hamilton Atkinson. Mrs.Roucroft was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Roucroft. She was a retired employee of the U.s. Steel Irvin Works and a member of First United Methodist Church in Clairton. Mrs. Roucroft is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Benack of Clairton and Ursula Svac of Jefferson Borough; one son,Frank C. Roucroft of Fairless Hills, Pa.;three sisters,Elva Kraft of Belle Vernon,Florence Shetter of Spokane,Wash.,and Eleanor Stanger of Henrietta, Wash.;nine grandchidlren; 14 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.Friends will be received on Tuesday from noon to 9 p.m. in A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home,555 Fifth St.,Clairton. Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Peters officiating. Interment will be held at Belle Vernon Cemetery. The A. J. Bekavac Funeral Home is in chrge of arrangements.
