Barbara Cevtan Rade;78;of 114 Fifth St.;Monessen;died Thursday;Oct.17;1985 at 6:35 p.m. in the Presbyterian Medical Center;Washington. Mrs.Rade was born in Fayette City on March 17;1907;a daughter of the late Frank and Bara Grgas Cvetan. She had been a resident of Monessen the past 20 years. She was a member of VFW Post 119 Auxiliary where she served as a past president;the American Legion Auxiliary of Fayette City;the Monessen Democratic Club;the Past Presidents Club of the Eagles Auxiliary;the Croatian Club Auxiliary;the Slovak Home;and the Monessen Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by a brother;Rudolph Cvetan;Sept.1980. Survivors include two sons;Eugene (Radar) at home;and Francis of Perryopolis;a daughter;Josephine (Seka) Pushnack of Charleroi;two brothers;Frank of Sun City;Ariz.;and Joseph of Monessen;five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Stephen D.Yoney Funeral Home;First St.and Schoonmaker Ave.;Monessen;on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.Glen H.Burrows officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Stephen D.Yoney Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
