Lula Rainey;Youngwood R.D.1 (Greensburg);died Monday;Aug.5;1985;at 3:10 a.m. in the Westmoreland Manor. She was 75. Mrs.Rainey was born in Pricedale on Feb.7;1910;a daughter of the late Alex and Mary Julia Dudgeon. She was a resident of Youngwood the past two years and formerly spent most of her life in the Charleroi and Monessen areas. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Joseph Rainey;who died Aug.18;1946. Survivors include two daughters;Mrs.Ronald (Mary Lou) Shirley of Apache Junction;Ariz.;and Mrs.James (Florence) Stirbis of Youngwood;two brothers;Theodore of Belle Vernon R.D.;and Roy of Pricedale;two sisters;Florence Dunmire of Charleroi;and Agnes Wright of Cleveland;Ohio;and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.J.L.Clark;pastor of the Armburst Wesleyan Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
