Obituary
Henry Ross of 135 Grata Ave.,Arnold City,died Sunday,Feb. 13,1983 at 6:55 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 78. Mr. Ross was born Feb. 5,1905,in Pricedale,a son of the late James and Carrie Ross. He had been employed as a coal miner. Survivors include his widow,Mary Ross;two sons,James Lippincott and Dwight Dupree,both of Arnold City;two daughters,Mrs. Lorri Payne of Monessen and Mrs. Robbie Lynn Wilson of San Bernadino,Calif.;two brothers, Rev. Albert Ross of Youngstown,Ohio and Tubby Ross of Gary,Ind.;three sisters,Mrs. Ada Watkis of Belle Vernon,Hilda Ross of Youngstown,Ohio and Mrs. Ruby Derry of Greensburg;one aunt,Mrs. Christine Jones of Bentleyville and two grandchildren. Friends are being received in the Macedonia Holiness Church, Arnold City,from 2 p.m.Tuesday until 1 p.m. Wednesday,Feb. 16,at which time services will be held with Elder Nathan McCallister officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Percy Law Jr. Funeral Home,Donora,is in charge of arrangements.
