Walter K. Ronk of 15229 High Point Rd.,Strongsville, Ohio,died suddenly Tuesday, Jan. 4,1983,in the South West General Hospital,Berea, Ohio. He was 49. Mr. Ronk ws born Aug. 13,1933,in Rostraver Twp.,a son of Goldie King Ronk of Belle Vernon and the late Walter E. Ronk,who died Jan. 9,1982. A resident of Ohio for the past 26 years, he had been a former resident of the Belle Vernon area. Mr. Ronk was a veteran of the Korean Conflict,having served with the U.S. Army. He was employed as a millright at the Brookpark,Ohio plant of the Ford Motor Company. In addition to his father,Mr. Ronk was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Shrader,on Jan. 25,1981. Survivors, in addition to his mother,include his widow, Mary Ann Trembolak Ronk;one daughter,Lisa Ronk at home;one brother, Raymond E. Ronk of Fort Lauderdale,Fla.;and two sisters,Mrs. George (Edith) Holan of Cleveland, Ohio and Mrs. Ray (Dolores) Eberts of Belle Vernon R.D.3. Friends are being received Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Saturday,Jan. 8,at 11 a.m. with the Rev. D.J. Hockensmith,pastor of the Fells United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director is in charge of arrangements.
