Born Sept.4;1924 in Fayette
City; he was the son of the late
Edward and Alice White Rex.
A charter member of the
Church of the Nazarene in
Belle Vernon; Mr. Rex was
employed at the Coke Plant of
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel
Corp. in Monessen.
He is survived by his widow;
Dorothy Jean Hail Rex; one
son; Edward T Rex; of
Carmichaels ; three
daughters; Mrs. Kenneth
(Edwina J. ) Jones of Carmichaels;
Mrs. Kenneth
(Barbara Ann) Chiplaskey of
Monongahela and Mrs.
Thomas (Elizabeth Jo)
Dzimiera of Perryopolis; and
six grandchildren.
Friends will be received
after 3 p.m.Saturday in the
Howard W. McCrory Funeral
Home; Main St.; Fayette City;where services will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Kenneth E.Neiderhiser of the Church of the Nazarene and the Rev.David Hail of Oklahoma City;Okla.;as co-celebrants. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
