Obituary

Mary Mihalega Pupilli,93,of Allison Park,formerly of Belle Vernon,died Friday, Aug. 27,1999,at 1 p.m. in Kane Regional Center, Ross Township. Mrs. Pupilli was born July 19,1906,in Fairhope,the daughter of the late Charles and Theresa Gardzo Mihalega.She was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church of Belle Vernon and a resident of Allison Park who previously resided in the Belle Vernon community. She is survived by a son, Eugene Pupilli of Tequesta,Fla.; a daughter, Dolores Braddock of Allison Park,with whom she made her home; a sister,Ann Weaver of McKeesport; seven grandchildren,five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,Eugene Pupilli in 1961 and two sisters, Helen Mihalega and Julia Dacko. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a Parastas service will be held on Monday at 8 p.m. Relatives and friends will gather on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Mary Street, Belle Vernon for a funeral service with the Rev. John Kluchko,pastor,officiating.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
