Obituary

Inez B.Pipik,86,of Dunlevy,died Thursday,Aug.20,1998,in the Fayette County Health Center,Uniontown,Pa. Mrs.Pipik was born March 9,1912,in Dunlevy,the daughter of the late Peter and Julia Danesi Bercini. A member of the Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church of Charleroi,she was actively involved with local politics and the Washington County Democratic Party. For many years,she was associated with the Belle Vernon foodland. She was also a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by one brother,Mario Bercini of Ohio,one brother-in-law,Michael Tolkach of Roscoe,and two sisters-in-law,Margaret Bercini of Belle Vernon and Mary Bercini of Dunlevy. Besides her parents,she was preceded in death by her husbands,Cliff Donaldson and Albert Pipik,four brothers,Julio,Attilio,Joseph and Carl Bercini,and two sisters,Mary Tolkach and Irma Chislaghi. She is also survived by the following nieces and nephews,Dennis Tolkach,Edward Tolkach,Joseph Bercini,Joann Bercini,Ronald Chislaghi,Dorothy Collins and Gladys Morris. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ed Melenyzer Funeral Homes Inc.,1008 Furlong Ave.,Roscoe,where a funeral service will be held on Monday with the Rev.James Spontak of Holy Ghost Byzantine Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Ed Melenyzer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangemetns.
