Anna Puskas;81;of Fayette City;died Sunday;Nov.9;1997;in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Oct.22;1916;in Fayette City;a daughter of the late Luke and Mary Salko Yakim. Mrs.Puskas was a member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church;Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;John Puskas on March 6;1976;a son-in-law;Clifford Chippy Carlson on Sept.9;1992;three brothers;Luke;Charles and John Yakim;and a sister;Helen Portman. Survivors include a daughter;Mary Ann Carlson of Fayette City;a grandson;Russell Carlson of Bethel Park;and two sisters;Mary Lazzari of Belle Vernon and Sophia Yakim of Monongahela. Friends will be received in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home Inc.;334 Main St.;Fayette City today from 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday until 12:30 p.m.when a Blessing service will be held;followed by Divine Liturgy at 1 p.m.in the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church;Belle Vernon;with the Rev.John Kluchko as celebrant.
