Mary M.Palvekosky;87;of Charleroi;died Tuesday;Sept.16;1997;in Thorpe’s Personal Care Home;Charleroi. She was born May 9;1910;in Fayette City;a daughter of the late Stephen and Ann Jurilla Rihtarcik. Mrs.Palvekosky was a member of Mary;Mother of the Church parish of Charleroi;its Confraternity of Christian Mothers and the Jednota Lodge. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law;Lawrence and Laura Palvekosky of Belle Vernon;two grandchildren;Lawrence Palvekosky Jr.and Lisa Harris;five great-grandchildren;and one great-great-grandchild;Matthew Klein;and two sisters;Margaret Vesely of Dunlevy and Dorothy Slaney of Pittsburgh. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband;Frank Palvekosky;two sisters;Ann Drodar and Catherine Kaschok;and five brothers;Joseph;John;Stephen;Frank and Carl Rihtarcik. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home;819 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in Mary;Mother of the Church;Charleroi. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
