Goldie Virginia Nolan Perney;86;of 1010 Monongahela St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;March 23;1997;at 1:10 p.m.in Jefferson Hospital. Born July 31;1910;in Frostburg;Md.;she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Cora Wagus Nolan. A homemaker;Mrs.Perney lived in the Belle Vernon community since 1942. She was a member of Pricedale Union Church. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;William Perney;in December 1969;one son;William Perney;and three brothers;Shannon Wagus;Arthur Nolan and Robert Nolan. Surviving are four sons;Stanley Perney of Belle Vernon;Henry Perney of West Newton;Robert Perney of Chesterton;Ind.and Russell Perney Sr.of Monessen;four daughters;Gladys Lamey of Monessen;Mrs.Walter (Mary) Plewniak of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Al (Verna) Frame of Tarpon Springs;Fla.;and Mrs.Gerald (Clara) Wiltz of Triadelphia;W.Va.;23 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m.with the Rev.James J.Mimidis;pastor of Pricedale Union Church;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home.
