He was born Sept.23;1911;in North Belle Vernon;a son of the late Robert W.and Georgia Wieberg Price. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Mary Muryn Price;June 18;1985. A lifelong resident of the Mon Valley;he was a graduate of California State College with a bachelor of science degree in education. Mr.Price was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon and Masonic Lodge 92 F&AM of Waco;Texas. He was a retired foreman from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Allenport plant. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law;Edmund A.and Pamela Price of Waco;Texas;two daughters;Mrs Henry (Patricia) Ream of Belle Vernon and Joyce Fought of New Stanton;one brother;Jack O.Price of Waco;Texas;one sister;Mrs.LLoyd (Vivian) Guder of New Stanton;six grandchildren;Mrs.John (Jan) Hickman of Pittsburgh;Mary Beth Ream of Belle Vernon;Stacey and Jessica Fought;both of New Stanton;and Aland and Andy Price;both of Waco;Texas;and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev.Michael Shepard;interim pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Belle Vernon Masonic Lodge 643 F&AM will conduct services Friday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
