Margaret Kozma Pehote,76,of 209 Lewightty Ave., Belle Vernon,died Thursday,Feb. 15,1990,at 10:10 a.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Dec.10,1913,in Brownsville,a daughter of the late Stephen and Tressa Succor Kozma. Mrs. Pehote was a member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church of Belle Vernon and had resided in the Belle Vernon area for the past 60 years. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Pehote on March 17,1987,and two brothers, Andy Kozma and Jimmy Erdos. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law,Donald Peter and Linda Pehote of Belle Vernon; two daughters,Mrs. Theodore (Arlene) Parquet of Belle Vernon and Linda Sivek,at home;four brothers, Joseph Kozma of Monessen,Paul Kozma and George Kozma,both of Belle Vernon,and Emil Erdos of Lancaster; three sisters, Mrs. Bob (Mary) Smith of Collinsburg,Mrs. Konrad (Ethel) Luce of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Norma Heide of Belle Vernon;and three grandchildren,Jennifer Pehote,Natalie Pehote and Maria Parquet. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Mary Street, Belle Vernon,with Rev. John Kluchko,pastor,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas service will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
