Phillip J. Pardiny, 90, of Charleroi, died Friday, April 1,1988, at 7:05 p.m. in his home. Mr. Pardiny was born Feb. l, 1898, in Elizabeth, a son of the late Phillip and Rose Ferry Pardiny. He was a retired employee of the Atlas Merchandising Company in Charleroi. Mr. Pardiny was a member of the Mother of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Charleroi. Three brothers, Elmer, Raymond and James Pardiny, and two sisters, Clea Cuneo and Elizabeth Pardiny, are deceased. Surviving are his wife, Charlotte Ferrari Pardiny; one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Charlene) Lario of Speers Hill,one sister,Mrs. Irene Longhead, of Charleroi; two grandchildren, David Lario and Mrs. Craig (Tanya) Kraft; and one great-granddaughter, Jessica Kraft. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Mother of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church,Charleroi,with the Rev. Pierre Sodini,pastor,as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home,Inc.,is in charge of arrangements.
