Obituary

Lloyd C. Patterson,68,of 308 Johnson Ave., Belle Vernon (Pricedale),died Tuesday,Dec. 2,1986 at 5:19 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital.  He was born Jan. 1,1918 in Pricedale,the son of the late Offie and Agnes Easton Patterson.  He was preceded in death by three brothers, Floyd,James and Thomas. Survivors include his wife,Janet Cowan Patterson;one son,Bruce C. of Belle Vernon;two brothers,Glenn and Warren,both of Belle Vernon,one sister,Mrs. Sam (Betty) Scaccia of Belle Vernon;two grandchildren,Sean and Curin Patterson of Belle Vernon. He was a lifelong resident of the Pricedale community.  He was a member of the Pricedale Union Chruch,  He was a member of Belle Vernon Masonic Lodge #643, F&AM.  He was a veteran of World War II,having served with the U.S. Army.  He was a member of the national organization of Pearl Harbor survivors.  He was past president of the Pennsylvania organization of Pearl Harbor survivors and was a member of the Keystone Chapter of that organization.  He retired in 1980 from the maintenance department of Fisher Body, West Mifflin.  He was a member of the United Autoworkers and the Rostraver A.A.R.P. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. David R. Reeves,Jr.,pastor of the Pricedale Union Church officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Belle Vernon Masonic Lodge #643 F&AM services will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.  The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
