Beatrice M.Pierce of Allenport Borough died Monday;April 7;1986;at 2:10 p.m.in the Presbyterian Medical Center;Washington;Pa.;following a lengthy illness. She was 82. Born in West Newton;March 10;1904;she was a daughter of the late Albert and Maggie Jones Conner. She also was preceded in death by her husband;William Philip Pierce;in 1972. Mrs.Pierce was a Protestant by faith. Surviving are one son;William L.Pierce of Stockdale;three grandchildren;seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and two sisters;Mrs.Myrtle Boris of Smithton R.D;and Mrs.Lillian Captain of Fayette City R.D. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and until 11 a.m.Wednesday;the tme of services at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;with Rev.Barbara M.Ratusnik;pastor of the Roscoe Presbyterian Church;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;is in charge of arrangements.
