Stella Barnot Plewniak of 1375 Fayette Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Monday;Sept.23;1985;at 8:45 a.m. in the Waddington Nursing Home;Fayette City. She was 91. Mrs.Plewniak was born April 23;1894;in Poland. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;she was a member of St.Joseph’s Polish National Catholic Church;Fairhope. She was preceded in death by her parents;a daughter;Josephine Plewniak;her first huaband;Joseph Barnot on Jan.8;1938;and by her second husband;Joseph Plewniak on July 1;1975. Survivors include three sons;Andrew Barnot of Fairhope;John Barnot of Belle Vernon and Steve Barnot of West Brownsville;a daughter;Mrs.Glenn (Jennie) Harold of Washington;Pa.;a stepson;Walter Plewniak of Belle Vernon;two stepdaughters;Mrs.Casey (Lena) Pawlak and Mrs.Jeannette Pawlak;both of Bayonne;N.J.;two sisters in Poland;18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a prayer service will be held Thursday;Sept.26 at 9:15 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.Joseph’s Polish National Catholic Church;Fairhope. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Belle vernon Knights of Columbus Council 3026 will hold services Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
