Morgan R. Paul of 300 N. Nelson Rd., Columbus, Ohio, died Tuesday,Sept. 31,1982, at 10:30 p.m. in Oakfield Convalescent Center, Columbus, Ohio. He was 76. Mr. Paul was born Sept. 19, 1905 in Scott Haven, Pa., a son of the late Morgan and Amanda Guder Paul. A retired truck driver, he had been employed for the past 15 years as a custodian for Radio Station WCOL In Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Paul was for many years a member of the Monessen Fire Department. In his youth, he was a local sandlot and baseball player in the Mon Valley League. Mr, Paul was a featured singer for many local bands, Including the Frank Lombardo (Frankle Barr) Orchestra. He was preceded In death by his wife, Eleanor Smith Paul, in 1931. Surviving are one son,Charles M.Paul of Charleroi,one daughter,Mrs. Jacqueline (Jackie) Kennedy Fleming,of Windber,Pa.;seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.where services will be held on Saturday,Sept.25,at 10:30 a.m.with the Rev.Lowell Adams,pastor of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director,will be in charge of arrangements.
