Berry Ross Peerman of 933 Summitt Ave.;Monessen;died Friday;March 19;1982;at 2:45 p.m.in the Mon Valley Hospital. He was 88. Mr.Peerman was born Jan.19;1894 in Gladys;Virginia;a son of the late George and Dollie Peerman. A resident of Monessen for several years;Mr.Peerman was retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church where he served on the Board of Trustees. Mr.Peerman was preceded in death by his wife Anna;one son;William and a daughter;Selina. Survivors include two sons;Mitchell of Oak Park;Ill.;and James of Monessen;two daughters;Mrs.Thomas (Hazel) Rone and Mrs.Robert (Virginia) James;both of Monessen;22 grandchildren;four great-grandchildren;and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home;608 Sixth St.;Monessen;on Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m.where services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Griffin E.Mason;pastor of Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;Monessen;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Draper Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
