Edgar R.(Tim) Province of Belle Vernon R.D.2;Sweeney Plan;died Thursday;July 2;1981;at 3:25 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 48. Mr.Province was born Dec.8;1932 in Speers;a son of John A.and Estelle Dunkerly Province;who reside in Speers. A U.S.Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict;he was employed by Monessen Southwestern Railroad. Mr.Province was Protestant by faith. He was active in the midget football and baseball programs in Rostraver Township. In addition to his parents;Mr.Province is survived by his widow;Margaret Ann (Gibbs) Province;one son;Thomas R.Province at home;two brothers;Loren of Monessen and Don of Speers;and one sister;Mrs.Gordon (Daryll) Wilson of Speers. Friends will be received in the James C.Stump Funeral Home;Rostraver Twp.;Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home;with the Rev.William C.Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. James C.Stump Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
