Margaret Tesack Paytas;of 418 Fourth St.;Monessen;died Thursday;May 7;1981;at 4:30 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. Mrs.Paytas;who was 78;had been in declining health. She was born Sept.17;1902;in Monessen;a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Spirko Tesack. Mrs.Paytas had been a life-long resident of Monessen. She was a member of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church;Monessen;and the Christian Mothers’Society of the Church. Mrs.Paytas was preceded in death by a grandson;Duane Doty;who died in an auto accident April 24;1981. Survivors include her husband;August A.(Gus) Paytas;at home;a son;August R.(Ray) Paytas;of Highlands;Calif;two daughters;Mrs.Michael (Margaret Peg ) McDonald of Montclair;Calif.;and Mrs. Leonard (Dorothy) Doty of Monessen;two sisters;Mrs.Anna Harcarik of Baltimore;Md.and Mrs.Theresa Gamble of Miami;Fla.;a brother;John Tesack;of Monessen;five grandsons;one granddaughter;and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;Saturday;from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 t 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home;followed by a 10 a.m.Mass of Christian Burial in Most Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church;Monessen;with the Rev.James Petrovsky;pastor;as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;is in charge of arrangements.
