Mrs.Katheryne Perry;69;of 323 Water St.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;Feb.21;1972;at 3:05 p.m.at her home. Her husband;John Perry;is mayor of Belle Vernon. Mrs.Perry was born in Windber on March 4;1903. She was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church and the Auxiliary to the American Legion Post;both of Belle Vernon. The family operated the Ritz Theater in Belle Vernon for many years prior to its closing in 1955. Surviving;in addition to her husband;are three sons;James Sedary of Kansas;Joseph Sedary of Belle Vernon and Salvatore Perry of Valparaiso;Ind.;four grandchildren;and her mother;Mrs.Christina Spadafore of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Blessing services will be held at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m.Saturday followed by Requiem Mass at St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;at 10 a.m.with Msgr.Martin O’Toole officiating. Private cremation will follow and interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
