Mike Pabis of 307 Krolik Ave.;Arnold City;Belle Vernon;died Friday;Feb.23;1979;at 9 p.m.at his home. He was 95. Mr.Pabis was born Aug.12;1883;in Poland;a son of the late Andrew and Anna Riejka Pabis. A retired coal miner;he was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church;Fayette City. He was preceded in death by his wife;Julia Pabis;in 1972 and a son;Mitchell;in 1971. Survivors include two sons;Charles;at home;and John of Belle Vernon;two daughters;Julia S.Pabis;at home and Mrs.Jean Samek of Belle Vernon;one sister;Mrs.Katherine Ryba of Poland;six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received after 3 p.m.Saturday in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. A Prayer service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 9:30 a.m.followed at 10 a.m.by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Spirit Catholic Church;Fayette City. The Rev.Thomas G.Rinn will be the celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Wake service will be held in the funeral home Sunday at 8 p.m. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
