Joseph J. Pisarchek,80, of 908 Henry St.,Belle Vernon died Monday, May 29,1978 at 6 a.m. in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. Born March 19,1898 in Pittsburgh, he was a resident of the Belle Vernon community for over 50 years. He was a member of the St. Sebastian Catholic Church of Belle Vernon,the Holy Name Society of the parish and the Jednota Lodge of Monessen. Mr. Pisarchek was retired as a truck driver from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.in Monessen. He retired in 1968. He was preceded in death by his parents,Paul and Susan Pisarchek; two sisters, Rose and Marie, and two brothers,Paul and John. Survivors include his widow, Anna Yencsik Pisarchek; two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Marie) Pryor of Springfield, Va.and Mrs. Raymond (Agnes) Boczek of Farmington,Mich.,two brothers, Rev. William Pisarcik of Pittsburgh and Steve Pisarchek of Arizona; one sister,Sister Florence of the Order of Vincentian Sisters of Charity,and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A Prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Sebastian Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,at 10 a.m. Also, a Parish Rosary will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
