Henrietta Snyder Owens; 86;
of Newell; Pa.; died Tuesday;
Jan. 18; 1994; in the
Monongahela Valley Hospital
after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Jefferson
Township; June 19; 1907; a
daughter of the late Frederick
and Mildred Bradley Snyder.
Mrs. Owens was a member of
Newell United Methodist
Church.
She is survived by one son;
Fred Owens of Monongabela;
two daughters; Siona Wilson of
Uniontown and Joan Zeller of
Newark; Del ; six grandchildren
and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents; she
was preceded in death by her
husband; James Owens on Dec.
6; 1993; and a brother; John M.
Snyder in September of 1969. She
was the last surviving member
of the Snyder family.
There will be no public viewing and funeral services will be
private. Interment will be in
Belle Vernon Cemetery. The
Howard W. McCrory Funeral
Home; Fayette City; is handling the arrangements.
