Wayman C. Osborne,84,formerly of Belle Vernon,died Monday,Feb. 22,1993,in Brownsville General Hospital. He was born in Independence,Va.,May 24,1908,the oldest son of the late Coy and Pearl Osborne. Mr. Osborne was a former Belle Vernon resident until he became a resident of Sue Birts Personal Care Home in Uniontown. He retired for Page Steel and Wire Mill,Monessen,with 35 years of service. Mr. Osborne is survived by his wife, Orella Osborne of Pittsburgh;three sons,Carl Osborne and Richard Osborne,both of New York City,and Arnold Walker of Washington,Pa.;a sister,Mabel Osborne of Belle Vernon;three brothers,Samuel Osborne,Herman Osborne and Dwight Osborne,all of Belle Vernon;five grandchildren and nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by three sisters,Rose Callahan,Marie Osborne and Bessie Woods and two brothers, Lonnie Osborne and Walter Osborne.Friends will be received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,608 Sixth St.,Monessen,Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m Funeral services will be held Saturday in the funeral home at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Luther Wormack officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
