Grace E.Oliphant;71;of Belle Vernon;died Sunday;May 26;1991;at 6:12 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Washington Township on Nov.12;1919;a daughter of the late William and Mary Arbuckle Lutes. Mrs.Oliphant was Protestant by faith. She was a retired licensed practical nurse. Mrs.Oliphant ws preceded in death by her husband;Warren C.Oliphant;on June 30;1981;one brother;and two sisters. She is survived by one son;Timothy W.Oliphant of West Newton;one daughter;Kathleen Van Divner of Belle Vernon;four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren;two sisters;Mrs.Vera Biagini of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Rosena Van Horn of Weirton;W.Va.;and two half-sisters;Ruth Yartin and Peggy Pivovarnik;both of Charleroi. There will be no public visitation. Services will be held privately today at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City.
