John E. (Jigs) O’Toole;73;of Fayette City RD 1 died Thursday;Nov.3;1988;at 12:21 a.m.in the Mon Valley Hospital.  He was born Sept.26;1915;in Monessen;a son of the late Thomas and Catherine Crowe O’Toole.  He was a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City;and the Naomi Athletic Club;Fayette City RD 1.  He was retired from American Chain and Cable Corp. Page Plant;Monessen;and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.  In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Sara McFall O’Toole;in 1981.  Survivors include two sons;Jack O’Toole of Fayette City RD 1 and Thomas O’Toole of Bay City;Mich.;a good friend;Pearl Daniels;eight grandchildren;one great-granddaughter;four brothers;Thomas of Monessen;Robert of North Charleroi;Donald of Belle Vernon and Joseph of Monessen;and four sisters;Mrs.Melvin (Alice) Tressler of Monessen and Mrs.August (Josephine) Rigotti of Pittsburgh;Mrs.Gust (Patricia) Ostetrico of Monongahela and Mrs.Joseph (Gertrude) Zoretich of Bentleyville.  Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.;Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Saturday until 9:30 a.m.;when Prayer Services will be held in the funeral home;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church with Rev.Thomas G.Rinn;pastor;as celebrant.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
