Andrew Onufer of Fayette City died Tuesday;Aug.6;1985;at 10:35 a.m. in Jefferson Hills Manor;Jefferson Borough;following a lengthy illness. He was 82. Mr.Onufer was born Aug.2;1903;in Washington Township;Fayette County;a son of the late Joseph and Mary Misklosky Onufer. He was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church of Belle Vernon. A retired coal miner;Mr.Onufer was a member of UMWA Local 2244 of Bentleyville. The last known member of his immediate family;he is survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. Funeral services will be held Friday;Aug.9 at 9 a.m. in Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church;Belle Vernon;with the Rev.Fr.John Kluchko;pastor of the church;as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
