Obituary

Mrs.Anna Belle Olexa of Perryopolis R.D.2 died Saturday,Dec.8,1984,at 11:16 a.m.in Shadyside Hospital,Pittsburgh. She was 73. Mrs.Olexa was born in Confluence on June 11,1911,a daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Dobson Burnsworth. She was a member of St.John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church,Perryopolis. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,George P.Olexa,on Feb.4,1970. Survivors include five sons,Eugene Huey of Denbo,Joseph Olexa of Charleroi,Raymond Olexa of Grindstone,Richard Olexa at home and Michael Olexa of Perryopolis,four daughters,Mrs.Edward (Mary Anna) Matway of Charleroi,Mrs.Rose Lewis of Perryopolis,Mrs.Vincent (Marlene) Kamenicky of Springfield,Va.,and Mrs.Donald (Burnadette) Joseph of Uniontown,15 grandchildren,one great-grandchild,and a brother,Robert Burnsworth of Richmond,Va. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in the St.John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church of Perryopolis with the Rev.Father W.J.Erkens,pastor of the church,as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery,Belle Vernon. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
