Mrs.Fanny O’Brien of 146 California Ave.;Fayette City;died Monday;Oct.6;1980;at 8:0 p.m.in Lafayette Manor;Uniontown;following a lengthy illness. She was 84. Mrs.O’Brien was born Dec.10;1895;in Scotland;a daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth Stewart Livingstone. A Protestant by faith;she was preceded in death by her husband;James O’Brien;in November;1970. Survivors include one son;Charles O’Brien;of Fayette City;Rd 1;two daughters;Mrs.Henry (Mary) Vandernitte of Fayette City;and Mrs.Elizabeth Speck of Pittsburgh;a brother;Alex A.Livingstone;of Fayette City;RD1;one granddaughter;and two great-granddaughters. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Bruce Smith;pastor;Fayette City Christian Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
