Richard Neal;57;of McKinley Road;Charleroi;died Monday;May 11;1998;at 6 a.m.in his home following a lengthy illness. He was born April 6;1941;in Philadelphia;a son of Barbara Bynumn Neal Richey;with whom he made his home;and the late Edward Neal. He worked for numerous construction companies in the Philadelphia area where he was a dry wall finisher. He was Baptist. Survivors in addition to his mother;include his step-father;Murray Richey of Charleroi;two brothers;Robert and Eric Neal;both of Philadelphia;two sisters;Lee Anna Neal Henry of Philadelphia and Ileana Neal Moore of North Carolina;and two grandchildren;Marc and Andrew Watkins;both of Virginia. In addition to his father;he was preceded in death by one daughter;Sherrie Neal Watkins. Friends will be received in the Mt.Sinai Baptist Church;Brushton Avenue;North Charleroi;on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.;when funeral services will be held with the Rev.Wanda L.Sawyer;pastor;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. He is also survived by two aunts;Mrs.Robert (Everetta) Jackson Simms;and Mrs.John (Shirley) Salley;both of Philadelphia;and several cousins;nieces and nephews.
