Joseph Nusser,78,of Belle Vernon R.D.5,died Saturday,Aug. 6,1994,at 2:30 a.m. in Frick Community Hospital,Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Nusser was born Jan.22,1916,in Rostraver township,a son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Skrabotovic Nusser. He was a lifelong farmer in Rostraver Township. Mr. Nusser was a member of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church,Rostraver Township. Surviving are his wife, Helen Laska Nusser,one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Elaine) Phillips of Belle Vernon R.D.5;one son,Joseph William Nusser at home; three sisters, Mrs. Emil (Elizabeth) Barron and Mrs. Richard (Mary) Rocca,both of Belle Vernon,and Mrs. Thomas (Tressa) Slebodnik of Irwin;and two grandsons,Thomas and David Phillips. A sister, Barbara Schalk,and three brothers,John,Andrew and Michael Nusser,are deceased. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc.,Sweeney Plan,Rostraver Township. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home,with the Rev. Richard Klein officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc.is handling arrangements.
