Obituary
Ann Smereczniak Nogy,77,of 835 Graham St.,Belle Vernon,died at 7:13 a.m. Sunday,July 7,1991,in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township. Mrs. Nogy was born Oct. 17,1913,in North Belle Vernon,a daughter of the late Michael and Alexandra Monita Smereczniak. She was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon community and a member of the First Baptist Church,Belle Vernon. Her husband,Lewis Nogy,two sisters,Virginia Merella and Martha Tiano;and a brother,Metro Smereczniak are deceased. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Relatives and friends will gather at the First Baptist Church,Belle Vernon,on Tuesday at 10 a.m. for funeral services,with the Rev. Dr. Donald A. Schnarr,pastor,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
