Carobina F.Niccolai of 600 Lookout Ave.;Charleroi;died Monday;June 15;1987;in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. She was 87. Mrs.Niccolai was born June 26;1899;in Poistia;Italy;a daughter of the late Domenico and Assunta Orsucci Ferrari. She was a member of Mother of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church;Charleroi;and the Ladies Altar Society of the Church. Mrs.Niccolai was also a member of the John K.Tener Library in Charleroi. Surviving are one daughter;Virginia Niccolai;of Charleroi;three brothers;William Ferrari of Crockett;Tex.;Albert Ferrari of Brownstown;Fayette City;and Alfred Ferrari of Charleroi;three sisters;Minnie Mazzei;Charlotte Pardiny and Lena Mazzei;all of Charleroi;and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents;Mrs.Niccolai was also preceded in death by her husband;Nello Niccolai;in 1956;and by three brothers;Charles;Reno and Nello Ferrari;and one sister;Jean Pantelo. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard M.Pavlic Funeral Home;Inc.;235 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi. A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.in Mother of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church;Charleroi;with the Rev.Pierre Sodini;pastor;as principal celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon. The family suggests contributions in Mrs.Niccolai’s memory may be made to Mother of Sorrows Church and to the John K.Tener Library in Charleroi.
