Obituary

Julia A.Nagy of 820 Brown St.,Belle Vernon,died at 6:55 p.m. Monday,Jan.27,1986,at the Haven Crest Nursing Home,Carroll Township. She was 80. Born In Albany (Brownsville,Pa),April 26,1905,she was a daughter of the late Theresa Kandosh and Frank Tatrai Sr. Mrs.Nagy was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas,Court 1522,of the Church. Mrs.Nagy was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Louis W.Nagy,Nov.28,1978,a son,John Nagy on April 20,1982,a daughter,Elizabeth (Betty) Roskevitch on July 17,1973,a sister,Mary Koren,and two brothers,Joseph and Steven Tatrai. Surviving are a daughter,Dolores J.Nagy at home,a brother,Frank Tatari Jr.of Brownsville,two sisters,Irene Barnhart of Pennsville,N.J.and Ann Medve of Warren,Ohio,three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a prayer service will begin Thursday,Jan.30 at 9:30 a.m.followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. CDA Court 1522 will hold services Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
