Russell H.Neudorfer of Fort Lauderdale;Fla.;formerly of Belle Vernon;died Thursday;Jan.22;1986;at 3:05 p.m.at his home. He was 78. Mr.Neudorfer was born Feb.6;1907;in Monessen;a son of the late William and Alice Kepple Neudorfer. A resident of Fort Lauderdale since 1956;he was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Allenport Plant;where he was a maintenance supervisor. Mr.Neudorfer was Presbyterian by faith. While in Florida he owned and operated the Melrose Park Motel in Fort Lauderdale. He had owned and operated the Diaper Ice Cream Bar at Allen’s Crossroads while living in the mid-Mon Valley. Mr.Neudorfer was a member of Belle Vernon Masonic Lodge 643;the Masonic and Syria Temple of Pittsburgh and the Charleroi Elks Lodge. Survivors include his wife;Mary Belle Stark Neudorfer;one daughter;Mrs.Gene (Jerry Elaine)Klimetz of Cooper City;Fla.;and one brother;Leonard Neudorfer of Monessen. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Monday;Jan.27;at 11 a.m. with the Rev.S.Kenneth Johnson;pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Monessen;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
