Born Dec.8;1920 in Rostraver Twp.;he was the son of the late Frank Nichols and Mrs.Eva Usher Nichols;who survives. In addition to his mother;whith whom he made his home;he is survived by a daughter;Velma Nichols;and son Frank Nichols. Also surviving are two brothers;John and Louis Nichols of Charleroi and six sisters;Mrs.Bertha King of R.D.Perryopolis;Mrs.Clara King of R.D.Vanderbilt;Mrs.Eva Smith of Rockville;Md.;Mrs.Alfretta Houseman of R.D.Belle Vernon;Mrs.Norma Jean Halley of Fairhope and Mrs.Ruth McWilliams of R.D.North Huntingdon. Friends are being received at the Ed Melenyzer Funeral Homes Inc.;825 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.Ralph Houseman officiating. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ed Melenyzer Funeral Homes Inc.are in charge of arrangements.
