Gino Niccolai,79,of 25 Johnston,St.,Belle Vernon died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday morning,Aug. 9,1979,in Mon Valley Hospital after a lingering illness. Born May 21,1900,in Italy,he was a son of Raphael and Ersicia (Dolfi) Niccolai. Mr. Niccolai was retired as produce manager of Dolfi's Market of Belle Vernon and had lived in the area most of his life. He was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Belle Vernon,a member of East Belle Vernon Athletic Association and Italian Club of Belle Vernon. Surviving are his widow,Fabiola Sylvester Niccolai;three daughters, Jean Corbett and Mrs. Donald (Kathleen) McCullough,both of Belle Vernon,Mrs. Joseph (Joann) Vizza of Monessen;two sons,Raphael of Belle Vernon and Harry of Monessen;a brother,Narchiso Niccolai of Landsdale,Pa.;11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Four brothers,Drimo Nello,Salvatore and Dominick are deceased. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Sebastian Church. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Prayer service will be held at Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home at 626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Friends may call at the funeral home 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
