Obituary

Julius A.Nohavicka,103 Linton Ave.,Belle Vernon,died suddenly Monday,March 13,1978,in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was 51. Born in Monessen,June 20,1926,he was the son of the late Joseph Nohavicka and Mary Nohavicka. He had been a resident of Belle Vernon the last 22 years and was formerly of Monessen. He had been employed as a painter for the Corning Glass Corp,Charleroi. He was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,the Corning Credit Union,Belle Vernon Fire Department No.2,the Southwestern Pennyslvania Fire Chiefs Association,Fayette County Firemen's Association,and the Jednota Lodge. He is survived by his wife,Mary Jane Konare Nohavicka,two sons,Anthony and James Nohavicka,both of Los Angeles,Calif.,two daughters,Mrs.David (Teresa) Vernile of Belle Vernon and Marianne Nohavicka at home,his mother Mrs.Mary Nohavicka of Gardenia,Calif.,one sister,Mrs.Walter Rutkosky of Gardenia,Calif.,and one brother,Joseph Nohavicka of Munich,Germany. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Prayer services will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St.Sebastian's Catholic Church,Belle Vernon at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
