Clinton H. (Tinse) Manown,Sr.,76,of Sherwood Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday, Nov. 28,2000,at 11:25 p.m. in Mon Valley Hosptial. He was born in Rostraver Township on May 21,1924, a son of the late Clinton H.and Ida Lermineaux Manown. Mr. Manown was a membr of Calvary Bible Church in North Charleroi,Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659,F&AM Lodge 643 of Belle Vernon and the Mon Valley Home Builders Association. He was also a member and president of the Belle Vernon Cemetery Board of Directors Association. He was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area and retired in 1973 after 30 years service with the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was also a retired home builder and developer. He was a U. S. Army veteran,serving during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Parise Manown,with whom he would have celebrated 54 years of marriage on Nov. 30,2000;one son and daughter-in-law,Clint and Michele Manown Jr. of Rostraver Township;a daughter and son-in-law,Debra and Vic Fioravanti of Rostraver Township;three brothers, William,Frank and Kriby Manown,all of Belle Vernon; a sister, Rebecca Jannotta of Belle Vernon;and seven grandchildren,Clint Manown III, Chad Manown and Cullen Manown,and Stacey,Nicole,Ashley and Krista Fioravanti. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Naomi Kuss,Adele Cramer and Louise Bednar and three brothers, Martin, George and Jack Manown. Friends will be received Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,a Golden Rule member Firm,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home,with the Rev. James D. Hartzler,pastor of Calvary Bible Church,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vrrnon Crmetery. The Belle Vernon F&AM Lodge 643 will meet in the funeral home for services Friday at 7 p.m.,followed by services by the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 at 7:30 p.m. If friends wish, memorial donations can be made to the Calvary Bible Church of the American Cancer Society.
