Obituary

Dorothy E.Moneta,78,of Highland st.,Belle Vernon,went home to be with the Lord on Sunday,Oct.15,2000,in Mt.Macrina Manor,Uniontown. She was born in Huntingdon on May 31,1922,a daughter of the late Herbert and Gertrude Weaver Rutherford. Mrs.Moneta was a member of the Char-Belle Free Methodist Church in Belle Vernon and lived most of her adult life in Belle Vernon. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law,Anthony W.and Betty Moneta of Greensburg,two daughters ans sons-in-law,Trudy and Robert Rhoderick of Monongahela and Brenda and Frank Buddy Manown of Belle Vernon,two sisters,Beatrice Harbaugh and Marion White,both of Huntingdon,five grandchildren,Dr.Robert Rhoderick Jr.,Anthony Moneta,Rebecca Wallace,Jill Flaherty and Jeffrey Manown,and two great-grandchildren,Samantha Wallace and Tyler Edmund Rhoderick. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Anthony Moneta,on March 29,1999,by three sisters,Margaret Bailey,Irene Bowser and Jean Imbler,and one brother,William Rutherford. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.,a Golden Rule Member Firm,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home,with the Rev.Eugene Spear officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
