Obituary

Anthony T. (Bozo) Matrozzo
90, formerly of Ada Street,
Belle Vernon, died Wednesday,
April 19,2000, in Country Care
Manor, Fayette City. He was
born Nov. 14, 1909, in Italy, a
son of the late James and
Carmella Cimino Matrozzo.
Catholic by faith, he was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon.
He retired after 40 years of
service with the Allenport
Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh
Steel Corp. Survivors include
one son and daughter-in-law,
James R. and Betty Matrozzo
of Washington Township, one
daugher and son-in-law, Flora
and Arthur Gillon of Charleroi,
two brothers, Pat Vadella of
Roscoe, and Joe Vadella of
Belle Vernon, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren,
and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to his parents, he
was preceded in death by his
wife, Isabell Pro Matrozzo on
Feb. 3, 1984, his stepfather,
Joseph Vadella, three brothers,
Frank, Fred and Ralph
Matrozzo, two sisters, Ange
Cherock and Fortunata (Babe)
Toth. Friends will be received
Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. in the FERGUSON
FUNERAL HOME INC., a
Golden Rule Funeral Home,
700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon.
A blessing service will be held
Saturday at 10 a.m. in the
funeral home. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
