James Moe Mollis;65;of 916 Graham St.;North Belle Vernon;died Saturday;Feb.5;2000;at 11:35 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. He was born June 20;1934;in Charleroi a son of the late Harry and Mabel Carlock Mollis. Mr.Mollis was a resident of North Belle Vernon for the past 30 years and was Methodist by faith. He was a retired switchman from the former Bell of Pennsylvania. Mr.Mollis was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and a 1952 graduate of Charleroi High School. He was a U.S.Navy veteran;serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659;where he served as past commander;a member of the Charleroi VFW;Slavic Citizens Club of North Charleroi;and the Italian Unita and Russian Club;both of Charleroi. Survivors include his wife;Emma Jean Morgan Mollis;two daughters and a son-in-law;Lisa and John Nelson of Oak Hill;Va.and Lori Mollis of Belle Vernon;a granddaughter;Samantha Taylor Nelson of Oak Hill;Va.;a sister;Joan Fontanelli of Speers;and a niece;Deborah Fox of Speers. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a niece;Valori Cullen. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the LEONARD J.PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME;family owned and operated;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.Charles K.Sowden;United Methodist minister;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 will hold services in the funeral home Tuesday at 7 p.m.
