Esther Mazza; 93; formerly of
Sampson Street; Belle Vernon;
died Tuesday; Sept. 21;1999; at
1:20 p.m. in Washington Hospital. She was born June 27;1906;
in Belle Vernon; a daughter of
the late Harvey and Ellen
Mackey Davenport. In addition
to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband;
Frank Mazza; who died Jan. 11;
1969; and 11 brothers and sisters. She was a member of the
First Christian Church; Belle
Vernon; and the Belle Vernon
and Fayette City Golden Agcrs.
She spent most of her adult life
in Belle Vernon. Survivors include one sister-in-law; Gilda
Duda of Belle Vernon; nieces;
Fran Fayish of Rostraver Township and Patricia Daniels of Belle Vernon;nephews;Frank Duda of belle Vernon and Albert Davenport of Denver;Colo.;and several other nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m.with the Rev.Donald A.Bowers;pastor of the First Christian Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
